ok here is what i don’t understand about people. there is no common sense. this woman calls in and she has a router. we don’t support home networks here we just make sure there is an internet connection. she had 2 computers plugged into the router and they worked fine and she got a 3rd one and it won’t work. i tell her there is a problem somewhere between the router and the computer and she would need to look into that. she’s all convinced that it can’t be a problem with the router, that it has to be a problem with the internet. ok first of all, i didn’t even say the problem was with the router, i said it was between the router and the computer. i mean it’s probably not even hooked up right or something like that. but the worst part is she thinks the problem is with her internet connection. like… you have two computers and they are working. does this mean nothing to you? shouldn’t it be blatantly obvious that the internet connection is working fine if you can get an internet connection? idiot…
